Getting Set For Your Future.

Message: GETTING SET FOR YOUR FUTURE

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."

Jeremiah 29.11.

1. Child of God , Know that your future is glorious -
- therefore do not enter into the new phase with fear and negative flow of the past.
- Know that your worst days are behind you.
- Do not enter a new phase with wrong attitude.
- You cannot move forward looking back ...
- If you try to move forward with your focus still behind , it will lead to a crash.

- In getting prepared for your future come to Know that your future is glorious..
- Forget those things which are behind and press on towards the Mark.

2. in preparing for your glorious future ,
- Have scriptures you are standing on for certain things in your life... marriage, business, health …for example
- FOR PROTECTION : Isa 54:17,
- “No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; And every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will condemn. This [peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And this is their vindication from Me,” says the Lord.”
- Isaiah‬ ‭54‬:‭17‬ ‭AMP‬‬

- FOR FINANCES : 2 Cor 9:8,
- “And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity.”
- 2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭8‬ ‭AMP‬‬

- FOR HEALTH 1 Peter 2.24

- “He personally carried our sins in His body on the cross [willingly offering Himself on it, as on an altar of sacrifice], so that we might die to sin [becoming immune from the penalty and power of sin] and live for righteousness; for by His wounds you [who believe] have been healed.”
- ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭24‬ ‭AMP‬‬
3.  In preparing for this future, You must speak these scriptures daily. Turn them to your confession.
- Release increase,
- Release personnel,
- Release finance,
- Release help,
- Release assistance,
- Release health,
- Release money into your life every day.
- You must speak these scriptures
4. In getting set for this future,
- Never speak against your future,
- Never speak against your desire.
- Do not speak what you do not want to happen.
- You have to speak what you want to see.
- That’s because You have what you say whether you are joking, serious, angry, etc.

- “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words.”

5.  In getting set for this future,
- Meditate on your glorious future: have thinking times when you mentally explore pleasant possibilities based on the word of God.
- Picture your future happening now. Joshua 1.8.
- Meditation helps you observe to do or act carefully.
- Acting carefully is what makes your way prosperous.
- One who is excellent pays attention to details.
- Carefully observe.
- Meditation helps you observe carefully.
- Because meditation guides your decisions,
- Avoid meditating/ thinking on negative things.
- So it doesn’t guide you to make negative decisions.
6. Daily ask God for wisdom, favour and boldness.

The future ahead of us is glorious but it must be possessed with understanding.

The Lord knows the future so we need to fellowship and have regular communion with the Holy Spirit- this is how you get guidance, directions, answers and solutions.

"Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer; the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. "Isaiah 48.17.

IN PREPARING FOR THE GLORIOUS FUTURE,

* Review
* what is working,
* what is not working,
* Ask yourself why it is not working?
* How can we improve on What is working.
* Engage in personal development: read, study, listen to messages and get better every day.
* In preparing for the future, learn to bounce back as soon as possible If there is crisis, or problem.
* Never let the devil waste
* your time,
* Your emotions and energy in crisis.
* Never make permanent decisions based on temporary problems.
* 1 Samuel 30 1-20
