Obiora Obiwon's new single "The Life Of Testimony" arrives just in time for Christmas 2019. The Life Of Testimony (#TLOT) is the official second single from his forthcoming 5th LP album entitled "Surge Decade". Musically #TLOT is an inspired testimony on the backdrop of a unique dance heavy combo of afropop (afrobeats) with elements of pop music and EDM. The song was produced by award winning nigerian producer Rotimi Keys.
About Obiora Obiwon:
Singer, songwriter, recording artiste and music minister Obiora Obiwon displayed a high affinity for singing performance from early childhood on the streets of Enugu, Nigeria. While earning a bachelor’s degree at the University of Nigeria (UNN), Obiwon started building a musical reputation and upon graduation and migration to Lagos, released his debut solo album. Since then he has released award winning albums. He is best known for the classic nigerian love songs ‘Onyinye’ and Obi Mu O’ and contemporary gospel songs ‘Hail my King’, 'Bunibe', 'Mercy' and 'Oh Jesus'.
In 2019 Obiora Obiwon started "The Surge Movement", inspired by his 2018/2019 urban pop rock single "Surge". The Surge Movement is focused on reaching and transforming the lives of young people through various outdoor campaigns and outreaches as powered by The Surge Renaissance Foundation. Obiora Obiwon also serves in his local church as a teen church minister. He is married to Nkechi and they are blessed with their daughter Nmesioma and son Chimdalu.
